Catering Assistant

11.5 hours per week - £15 per hour

West Bridgford Hockey Club is looking for a Catering Assistant. We are after a reliable, organised and self-managing individual who can cook and serve food for approximately 16 teams (up to 15 players per team) on a Saturday in a newly refurbished kitchen at their clubhouse in West Bridgford.

Key responsibilities
1. Menu planning
2. Shopping for supplies in line with allocated budget
3. Preparation and cooking of hot meals for players after games
4. Washing up and cleaning of the kitchen
5. Adherence to strict food hygiene and health & safety principles

Typical week: 7.5 hours on a Saturday during the season with up to 4 hours shopping and planning and input into food hygiene and health and safety
documentation required generally mid-week. There may be the option of additional hours on a Sunday for cup, Masters and junior matches and ad hoc events.

Catering experience is required but those currently training will be considered. The position starts in September and runs to the middle of April.
